and it was good!

We went and got my blood drawn yesterday to check my WBC's... and it was good! So today we are going to get the 2nd week of chemo. Next week we should have off, and then another blood test to see if we can start round 3!

Small Catch up! 3-23-09

Well as of today- March 23rd-- we are in the middle of the 2nd round of chemo. Last week was the dose of chemo that I received two types of chemo at the same time. I was supposed to start this 2nd round a week earlier- but my white blood count was too low. So we worked on that for a week and landed high enough in the counts to get the chemo. Today we will go check to see if it is still up enough to get tomorrow's dose of chemo. I haven't been too sick- but a little nauseous and tired. I guess we will see how it goes from here.

Thankfully the second chemo treatment is over and still I continue to feel good! We are still in the hotel while the remodeling goes on. Our new digs will be so wonderful, Jay and his crew (Cody and LaGrand) have done a great job, We also want to thank all of the tradesmen who have contributed time and talent. And last but by no means least who made it all happen by urging his mother to go forward.

Night 1 is OVER!

Well the first night has come and gone and so far I am feeling great. I hope that this is a sign of things to come. We will just take it one day at a time.
